Christies Restaurant, currently celebrating their 21st Birthday, has recently undergone a very exciting refurbishment project transforming their premises into a new Art Deco, contemporary eatery. Whilst everything looks totally different, including a fantastic extended balcony with views over St Peter Port and neighbouring islands, the famous Christies warm welcome, excellent service and delicious food remains the same.
New menus have also been carefully re-created by talented Head Chef Christopher Radford, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. As Chris explains: “With the Island having such an abundance of fresh food and drink on its doorstep, Christies are keen to support local suppliers, help encourage sustainability within the island and foster a wider variety within the local supply chain.”
Upstairs, there is a Private Dining Room, which makes a wonderful setting for corporate functions or intimate celebrations with family and friends.
The space has its own bar and an elegant dining area perfect for business or social gatherings. It also features a private balcony with breath-taking island views – lovely during the day and magical on balmy evenings when you can throw open the doors and enjoy the night air with the lights of Herm sparkling in the distance.
